Wild Questions

There are many reasons for becoming a Vegetarian.  Some do this for dietary reasons – to loose weight; and other to regain health.  Some make this choice based on their love of all living creatures and others out of their desire to live in harmony with the environment.

In addition to Vegetarians, there are Vegans.  Some will either start as a Vegan, or gradually transition from a one to the other either ‘logically’ or ‘naturally’.  Whatever the case, being Vegan is often considered more challenging because it eliminates all animal derived products.

Then there are Live Vegans, or Vegans who only eat live/raw foods.

In all, there are numerous approaches and interpretations of the three – Vegetarian, Vegan and/or Live Vegan – for this informal survey, I am looking for general information.

    HEALTH, ORIGINALLY. I REMAIN VEG BECAUSE OF WORLD HUNGER – MEAT PRODUCTION USES FAR TOO MANY RESOURCES THAT WOULD BE BETTER SPENT GROWING PLANTS FOR FOOD.

    I try to find live food restaurants or restaurants that are as close to health conscious and vegetarian as possible. Usually I end up ordering a salad or nothing but at this point I don’t eat out much.

    Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps, Maitaki, Shiitake, Olive leaf extract…Basically I dose on the medicinal mushrooms, making drinks out of them.

    Yes

    Daily yoga and daily core strength training. I also include minor crossfit and crossfit style exercises/workouts. Too much crossfit and I become too stiff.

    This probably falls under better health but I do this because I have realized how much I DON’T need the foods not included in live/vegan lifestyle

    I think this should be the norm and would make me feel comfortable eating meat but wouldn’t necessarily be the factor encouraging me to return to eating meat.
